Cashmere Goats
Cashmere, a luxurious fiber less than 19 microns in diameter, comes from the soft undercoat of Cashmere goats. Our goats have been selectively bred to produce cashmere: they are good mothers, and excellent foragers. They will clear your land of unwanted brambles and vines, including pesky poison ivy, kudzu, multiflora. All of our goats are gentle in nature, trained to five strand electric fencing, and not prone to escape as are some goats. Learn more about the production of cashmere and the pleasures of owning these goats at www.cashmeregoatassociation.org and www.nwcashmere.org.
Attention: Because of time constraints and change in focus, we have decided to end our fledgling breeding program and retain only a small herd of a couple of pet wethers and a several does.
